What is the
name of the Lord God?
The KJV says it is JESUS, from KJV original 1611 “IESUS”, from Latin “IESVS”, from Greek IHSOUS.

Jesus was speaking Greek, Latin
and Hebrew (the languages written over him on his cross, John 19:20), for his
audience were Greek speaking (the universal language then), Latin speaking
(Romans) and Hebrew speaking (the local language of the Jews). According to a
man, Hebrew, Greek and Latin represent the three son families of Noah: Shem (Hebrew), Ham (Latin) and Japhet (Greek).
We know that the New Testament Hebrew was not the “modern Hebrew” that is so popular today. Modern Hebrew has no vowels while the ancient Hebrew had vowels. We don’t know exactly how the Ancient Hebrew looked like but the Greek language is a living testimony and descendant of the Ancient Hebrew. Compare the characters of the Ancient Hebrew and Paleo Hebrew to Greek and they have similarities. Compare them to Modern Hebrew and they look differently. Why? Because Modern Hebrew did not come from Ancient Hebrew but from Babylon. Sacred name societies call Jesus in “strange” names such as Yeshua, Yahushua, Yaohushua, Yeshu and many more.
The Hebrew phrase yimakh shemo ve zikhro ימח שמו וזכרו “May his name be blotted out” is a curse placed after the name of
particular enemies of the Jewish people. The acronym of this curse is YeShU. Modern
Jews want to call the Messias as Yeshu because that is what it means, a curse
for the blotting out of one’s name and memory.
The name of the Lord is JESUS
according to the KJV and the Greek New Testament. They are not wrong about it. His name is not Yeshua, Yashua, Yahusha or
whatever.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew in the inspiration of
the Holy Ghost gave the definition of the name JESUS, and that is “ HE SHALL
SAVE” his people from their sins. Who is the “HE”? It is the Lord God himself, which means “THE
SAVIOUR” himself.
Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the
LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
The name of the Lord is JESUS.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:
Who is this LORD?
Paul the apostle confirmed it that the LORD is Jesus!
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
